Ariel Gallery

There is an ever-changing programme of temporary and travelling exhibitions in the Ariel Gallery.
Currently the gallery is home to 'The Ladybird Big Book of Motorcars', a collaborative exhibition with Ladybird Books. You'll come face to face with breathtaking life-sized prints of some of the most famous illustrations from classic Ladybird books along with real examples of some of the vehicles featured in the books. In particular a 1932 Alvis, a 1955 Maserati and a real cutaway Jaguar saloon. There's also a reader's corner, book tower and a memory corner for you to write down your own personal memories of learning to read with Ladybird books. The exhibition is on until Saturday 9th January 2011.
