If nostalgia isn't your style then let us whisk you into the future in Spirit of Speed. Here you can discover the story behind our two world land speed record holders - Thrust 2 and Thrust SSC - a truly supersonic car!

You can also be able to experience for yourself what it is like to travel faster than the speed of sound in our specially designed simulator. Please note that due to increased maintenance costs there is a now a £1 charge for the simulator - tickets can be purchased on the day of your visit at Past & Presents, the Museum shop.
