It is almost 200 years since George Eliot, one of England’s most famous authors, was born in Nuneaton. She was schooled and lived with her father in Coventry where she also met the Brays and Hennells who had a profound influence on her.

Find out more about the author and her Coventry connections in this talk given by John Burton, Chair of the George Eliot Fellowship.
