'Bicycle' Film Documentary and Eileen Sheridan
On Sunday 21st September, we are very proud to be screening a brand new documentary about the history of the bicycle and where it's heading in the future.
The film is simply titled 'Bicycle' and was made over the last 15 months with alot of historical input from Coventry Transport Museum and our former Head of Collections - Steve Bagley, who appears in the film.
We are very lucky to be granted permission to screen the film by the Director - Michael B. Clifford and Producers, and it's being screened in the Studio at our sister museum The Herbert at 4pm on Sunday 21st September as part of Coventry's Sky Ride event programme.
Tickets are £8 each, available to book now from this weblink www.theherbert.org/whats-on/events-exhibitions/film-screening-bicycle. On-line booking will stop at 4.30pm on Friday 19th September.
You can also book your tickets by phone and pay at the door on Sunday - The telephone number is 02476 237521....we can't process credit card bookings over the phone or on the door, it's cash only.
As a wonderful bonus, Coventry's own woman cycling superstar - Eileen Sheridan will be back in her home city on Sunday to join us for the screening of her own life achievements film titled 'Come on Eileen!' made by Tony Collins, who will also be attending the screening.
