A Venue Your Car Club Will Love

Coventry Transport Museum displays the world's largest collection of British road transport.  For many years now, car clubs have chosen the Museum as the perfect place to hold their meetings and events, enjoying Coventry's reputation as the birthplace of British motoring, and central location.

We offer special rates for weekend car club events, with use of our superb facilities from as little as £24 per day, including AV projector screen, microphones etc in most rooms.

And admission to the Museum itself is FREE!

Outside Space

Millennium Place, directly outside the Museum, is a fantastic space for car clubs to display vehicles, taking advantage of our magnificent backdrop and high visitor numbers.  There is no charge for this but it must be pre-booked.

Public liability insurance is covered by Coventry Transport Museum.  Please remember to bring your own oil drip mats/trays.  Cars can be displayed on Millennium Place from 8am, and the last car must leave by 4.30pm.

Parking

A very limited number of car parking spaces are available in our secure compound by special request, subject to availability.  When parking in our compound you will be unable to return to your vehicle until you leave, so please remember to take all your essentials with you.  Alternatively, public car parking can be found close to the Museum in Bishop Street, Fairfax Street or Belgrade Plaza, from as little as 50p on a Sunday.

Refreshments

Catering is available from the Museum's cafe Esquires, who can provide a wide selection of refreshments from tea and coffee to gourmet lunches.  Please contact them directly on 024 7625 7300 to arrange.
