The Ladybird Big Book of Motor Cars

Relive your childhood memories by discovering the iconic cars and original artwork from your favourite Ladybird books.

This Autumn and Winter, Coventry Transport Museum presents a unique exhibition which brings some of the world's best loved books to life in front of your very eyes.

If you were one of the millions of children who grew up learning to read with Ladybird, you can't afford to miss The Ladybird Big Book of Motor Cars.  Come face to face with breathtaking life-sized prints of some of the most famous illustrations from the books, along with real examples of some of the vehicles which feature in them, including a 1932 Alvis, a 1955 Maserati, a cutaway car and many more.

Don't miss this fabulous opportunity to recpature your childhood, and maybe even share your memories with your children or grandchildren by celebrating the fun and history of Ladybird with them.

With storytelling, a children's play area and many other activities, there'll be plenty to delight and enthrall your whole family.

The museum is open from 10am to 5pm daily (except December 24th, 25th, 26th and January 1st) and entrance to the museum and this special exhibition is FREE.
