Author Looking for Former Car Workers

18 March 2011

We have been contacted by Michael Stenning, a photographer and writer who is undertaking research for a book about former workers from the Coventry motor industry.

Michael's book is provisionally titled On The Scrapheap?  Whatever Became Of The Coventry Car Workers - and he is looking to give an account of the experiences of real people within the plants - the good times, happy memories, bad times, what if anything they feel might have saved their jobs, what they are doing now, and their hopes for the future.

If you, or someone you know, may be interested in telling Michael your story, you can contact him directly at stenningphotographic@googlemail.com.
