CTM named 'Favourite Motoring Museum in England'

16 May 2011

We were thrilled to open up our copy of Classic & Sports Car magazine this morning and find that Coventry Transport Museum has been featured as the magazine's 'favourite motoring museum in England' - the editors obviously have impeccable taste!

Here's what they had to say:

"The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is Britain's most famous car museum, but it's Coventry Transport Museum that really captivates by putting vehicles in a dramatic local context.  From early coachbuilding via the Blitz to the industry collapse and locally built ThrustSSC, the themed displays are inspired.  Special exhibitions, talks and car club displays continually enhance any visit."

Thanks chaps for the seal of approval, it was a great start to our Monday morning!
