Olympic Torch Relay comes to Coventry 1st July

The London 2012 Olympic Games Torch Relay comes to Coventry on Sunday 1st July making it's entrance at the Godiva Festival in Coventry's War Memorial Park from 4pm.

There's a special Olympic Torch arrival celebration event from 4pm in the park, which is free of charge and no ticket is required. This event will finish at 7.30pm.

On Monday 2nd July, the Olympic Torch Relay starts again bright and early at 7am from Millennium Place. BBC Coventry & Warwickshire radio will be broadcasting live from 6am with the Breakfast Show.

So make a note on your weekend planner and set your alarm for early O'clock on Monday 2nd July and come on down to Millennium Place to be part of Olympic history!
