Julia Bradbury gets on our bike!

26 February 2014

Last week we were pleased to support the launch of the Camping and Caravanning Club's cycle-camp "Challenge", which they are using to celebrate the Year of the Bike and the Club's own cycling heritage.

"The Challenge" will see a team from the Club taking on a six-day cycling challenge in May, wearing traditional cycling clothing in honour of the Club's founding member Thomas Hiram-Holding, who was himself a cycle-camper.   The Challenge was launched by the Club's President and television presenter Julia Bradbury, at The Caravan & Camping Show at the NEC, and we were delighted to be asked to supply our 1922 Coventry-built Rudge bicycle to add authenticity to the publicity photoshoot on the day.

Find out more about "The Challenge" on the Camping and Caravanning Club's website.
