11 March 2010

Would you like to get up close with the BMW motorcycle from ‘Long Way Around’ or the Nissan Patrol support vehicle from ‘Long Way Down’? Well, here’s your golden opportunity as these are now our guests here at Coventry Transport Museum!
These vehicles are on loan to the Museum by Big Earth Productions for a year and are now positioned in our Commercial Gallery for you to stand back and admire. The other vehicles in this fabulous display include Ewan McGregor’s BMW motorcycle from 'Long Way Down', Charley Boorman’s Paris-Dakar BWW motorcycle, Matt Hall’s Paris-Dakar BMW motorcycle and Charley Boorman’s Tuk Tuk from ‘By Any Means’.

We  also have some fabulous souvenirs in the gift shop connected with the exhibition...So make a point of visiting us soon to be one of the first to meet our Big Earth guests!
