The largest collection of British Road Transport in the World with 240 cars and commercial vehicles, over 200 cycles and 100 motorcycles.

Museum open every day (including Bank Holidays), except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Museum Open : 10am - 5pm (recommended last admission is 4:30pm)
Museum Shop : 10am - 5pm
Museum Café : 10:30am - 3:30pm – hot & cold drinks, light meals and refreshments

Visiting groups should contact the Museum in advance to inform us of your visit and for further information about coach parking. There is a drop off and pick up lay-by opposite the bus station in Hales Street.

The Museum has a very active Friends Organisation. If you would like to join or to find out more about them please contact the Museum.

Following a multi-million pound redevelopment the museum is fully accessible. Guide dogs are welcome. Please contact us if you have any specific requirements or would like to make use of one of our wheelchairs.

There is a drop off lay-by opposite the bus station in Hales Street and disabled parking bays in City Centre car parks.
