Practical Photography – From Auto to Manual
Wednesday 7 March
2.30 – 4.00pm
Takes place in the learning area.
A photography workshop to show you how to set exposure to get the best results in a range of lighting conditions. Using the impressive car collection at Coventry Transport Museum as inspiration, you will learn to set up the camera to make the most of available light and also use reflectors to balance the light for the best results.
Ideal for those who currently use auto or semi-automatic shooting modes, to help you to move on to shooting in full manual mode. Working in a small group, you will explore how to gain the best results using inexpensive equipment available on a modest budget. The skills you will develop can be applied to enable you to improve your indoor photography generally.
A small number of DSLR cameras can be borrowed for the session if you are unable to bring your own – please ask when booking on Eventbrite.
What to Bring
• DSLR camera and prime or zoom lens
• Fully charged battery (and spare battery or charger if possible)
• SD card
This session is for adult participants (over 18).
