From family STEAM learning to interactive exhibitions. There's something for everyone.

Practical Photography – Object Photography for Artist Makers

Saturday 10 March
10.30 - 12pm

Takes place in the learning area.

A photography workshop for artist makers aspiring to get their work seen online, in the press or magazines.  This workshop is designed to help you produce the best images of your work, focussing on object photography which might include jewellery, textiles, ceramics, woodwork, paper crafts and glass.

In a small group with plenty of tutor time, we will be photographing small objects with inexpensive photographic equipment to get the best results.  You will learn how to light your objects and photograph them using low-budget, but effective equipment and techniques.  The knowledge you will gain can be applied to enable you to photograph larger objects in your studio/setting, we ask for smaller objects so it is easier for you to transport them to the session.

What to Bring
A small object to photograph (roughly up to 30cm x 30cm)

This session is for adult participants (over 18s).

£20, book online in advance.
