Creative Bridges SEN Conference
The annual symposium is a space for learning and feeling armed with knowledge to challenge the inclusivity of our organisations.
Hearing directly from inspiring neuro-diverse adults and young people is the best way to feel galvanised to make a change. Gaining understanding of the challenges of peers who are doing great work and getting excited about the potential of mirroring these achievements ourselves can only happen when like-minded people are in the same space to connect and learn.
Highlights of the day will include:
• A case study of the ANDInclusive festival at Tate
• PurpleStars explore the sensory opportunities in museums and galleries
• It’s Raining Cats and Dogs - a humorous look at language from author Michael Barton
• Film, animation, movement and non-verbal communication workshops
The symposium will also see the launch of our free, blended learning programme to help museum professionals to develop a welcome for all into their museum.
Most of all, we want to hear from you about your practice and find new ways to support the sector in welcoming diverse visitors.
