The Festival of Motoring is on for 2012!

02 September 2011

On Friday 2nd September, we launched the Coventry Festival of Motoring for 2012.

The weekend Festival will be back next year in a new venue - Stoneleigh Park nr. Coventry over the August Bank holiday weekend of 25th & 26th August. If you're not sure where Stoneleigh Park is, it's where the former Royal Show was held.

We took full advantage of the glorious weather and had three beautiful cars and a classic Triumph T80 motorcycle on Millennium Place for the photocall.

Joining the vehicles for the announcement - from left to right are: Ian Pegler - Chief Executive of Stoneleigh Park, Gary Hall - Chief Executive of Coventry Transport Museum, Joe Elliott - Chairman of Coventry Transport Museum and the Lord Mayor of Coventry, Coun. Kieran Mulhall.

Hopefully, the weather for the Festival in 2012 will be as fabulous and we look forward to welcoming you to Stoneleigh Park next year for the new look Coventry Festival of Motoring!
