Exclusively For Groups - A Diamond Day Out

25 January 2012

In celebration of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year, from 6 April to 10 June, we will be mounting Royalty On The Road; a temporary exhibition bringing together a variety of vehicles that have been used by British Royalty, past and present.  From magnificent Daimler limousines used by monarchs to the Austin Metro given to Diana Spencer by Prince Charles, visitors will be able to get up close and personal with some extremely special vehicles.

To complement this exhibition, from 6 April to 10 June we are offering special ‘Diamond Jubilee Day Out’ packages exclusively for groups.   These brand new packages combine a visit to the Royalty On The Road exhibition with a ‘royal’ tour of Coventry with a Blue Badge guide and an indulgent cream tea at the Museum, giving groups a really different way to celebrate this very special Royal occasion.

Admission to Coventry Transport Museum and to this special exhibition is free of charge.  Tours and catering can be tailored to meet your group’s tastes, budget and the amount of time you have available.  Free coach parking spaces can be arranged directly behind the Museum for pre-booked groups.
