Our Big Weekend - A Big THANK YOU!

19 November 2012

We knew this weekend was going to be a big one for the Museum, but we had no idea just how big!

The weekend of 17th & 18th November 2012 was the busiest weekend in the history of Coventry Transport Museum, with record numbers of over 8000 of you visiting us over the two days - that's even more people than the first weekend of the Doctor Who exhibition in 2009!

You came in your droves to enjoy wartime activities at Saturday's Blitz Family Day; you shopped till you dropped at the Christmas Craft Fair, and on Sunday you got in the festive spirit at the Campers Christmas lights switch-on, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your massive support, and we hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.

If you missed the fun this weekend, remember there's plenty more in store as ScooterMania continues right through until March 2013, and we're also getting ready for a fab festive Christmas Family Day in a couple of weeks time.

To make sure you're always in the know about what's going on at the Museum, you can sign up for our fortnightly email newsletter, follow us on Twitter, or Like us on Facebook, so you'll never miss out again!
