Oz Armonico Drink to Music at the Old Grammar School

Oz Armonico Drink to Music
Tuesday 12 & Wednesday 13 July
7.30pm onwards
Tales of drunkenness, gluttony and misfortune abound in this unique concert programme. Wine critic Oz Clarke and members of leading baroque ensemble Armonico Consort will investigate the spurious links between wine from around the world and music of the Baroque.
In an entertaining journey from the British Isles to South America, via Germany and Italy, we will indulge in a four-course musical evening featuring composers from Bach, Purcell and Vivaldi to Latin dance music. There will be four tastings of wine and light bites from the different regions that are featured throughout the performance.
Tickets cost £54.90 for individual seats or £430 for tables of 8.
