A Land Speed Record: Audience with Richard Noble
A Land Speed Record: Audience with Richard Noble
Saturday 16 September
2pm – 4pm

A unique opportunity to enjoy an audience with Richard Noble, BLOODHOUND Project Director and the former holder of the World Land Speed Record.
Richard will be making a special visit to Coventry Transport Museum to give an inspiring and entertaining talk about the BLOODHOUND Project and the challenges faced by this amazing engineering adventure to set a new World Land Speed Record. It’s a truly exciting time for the project as work on the car continues in preparation for the moment when the car will leave the BLOODHOUND Technical Centre to make its first public runs at Cornwall Airport Newquay at the end of October this year.
As the driving force behind the last two land speed records, what better place to hear Richard talk but Coventry Transport Museum, home of the Land Speed Record Exhibition where you can see both Thrust 2 and Thrust SSC plus a life-sized replica of BLOODHOUND SSC made from K’NEX!
Event ticket holders can try out the simulator for a discounted price of £3.50 and also receive a discount of 10% on purchases made in the museum shop.
Please note that this display is being arranged by the BLOODHOUND team, and the Museum is not responsible for the content or any changes to the programme. Find out more and book here.
