Make and Play Engineers – Gears, Gears, Gears

Make and Play Engineers introduces the topics of our Mini Museum Engineers sessions to children up to the age of 8 to play, explore and learn amidst our collections.

Let’s play!

Engineering with gears and cogs is an amazing introduction to mechanics. In this session we will be playing with gears, cogs and whatever else might turn around to explore cause and effect, and chain reactions. Can we make a gearbox? What is a motor made off? Let’s find out in this playful session!

Please ask at Reception for the exact location of the session

Designed for age 2-8, but all are welcome. Should older siblings wish to join us, please be advised that the fee of £2 will apply to children up to the age of 12 and there may not always be space for older children to join in
