What's On

From family STEAM learning to interactive exhibitions. There's something for everyone.

Taking Flight

Open until 1 November 2020

Discover. Dream. Design.

Ever thought about becoming a pilot, inventor or astronaut?

Coventry Transport Museum invites you to take to the skies – in a multi-sensory experience for all ages.

From the first concept on powered flight, to modern jet propulsion, this exhibition will take you on an unforgettable adventure. Learn about the history and mechanics of aviation and see wondrous flying machines come to life.  Get inspired, create your own invention and watch it soar through an immersive digital landscape.*

No previous flying experience needed, so get ready to wing it.

*Due to COVID-19 and the interactive nature of this exhibition the space will contain sanitisation stations for the touch areas, and visitors will be given packs of crayons which will be cleaned after every use.
