Our ride-on explorer suitcases will transport your active explorers through our galleries!

Aimed at ages 2 – 5, but all are welcome

*Adults will need to pay the Museum Admission charge (valid for one year), however children aged 4 and under are FREE to enter.

Big Adventures for Little Explorers!

Looking for a fun, educational time with your under-5s? Join us for the Mini Museum Explorer Tour—a joyful journey through our museum galleries, packed with playful discovery and STEM-inspired fun!

No need to know what STEM is—just bring your curiosity! Our expert Learning Team will guide you and your little ones through exciting activities that explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths in a way that’s creative, hands-on, and totally child-friendly. You’ll be amazed how naturally your child engages with STEM through play—often without even realizing it.

What to Expect:

Ride-on explorer suitcases to roll, crawl, and jump through two museum galleries at a time
Interactive play space at the end of your journey filled with unique resources that spark imagination and early engineering skills
Open-ended activities in our museum galleries that encourage creativity, movement, and seeing the museum collection through the eyes of our explorers
Supportive guidance from our friendly Learning Team every step of the way

How to Book:

The tours are included with your admission fee, with children aged under 4 and under FREE to attend.
Tickets are valid for one year, which means future visits (and tours!) are FREE!
