MicLab – Stop-Motion Animation
Create a stop-motion animation in this workshop led by Let’s Animate.
Develop storytelling techniques, alongside character building, filming and recording voiceovers.
Designed for age 11 - 16
Join us at Coventry Transport Museum for this MicLab workshop (Made in Coventry Lab), led by local animator company Let’s Animate. Develop a concept for building a new playground in the city, inspired by our collections. Create a stop-motion-animation developing storytelling, background set development, character building along with filming and recording voiceovers.
As part of this 3-hour workshop, all participating children will receive lunch, served from our museum café, Esquires. Please let any food allergies be known at the time of booking. Parents are not required to stay for the duration of this workshop, but are welcome to, should they wish to.
We have HAF spaces available at this MicLab workshop. HAF is the Holiday and Activities Food Programme from Coventry City Council, funded by the Department for Education. If your child receives free school meals and lives in Coventry, they should be eligible.
