Visitors also came into the museum to see the Fire Engine inside and take a break from the hot weather in the cafe and galleries. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the day: “I would like to thank you for making us so welcome, we really enjoyed the day and look forward to working with you in the future” Air Ambulance “It really was a fantastic day and excellently organised. Please bear us in mind if/when planning your next event” RNLI "A great success and definitely an event we will continue to support” West Midlands Fire Service. Literally around the corner at The Old Grammar School, Coventry Society took over the building to celebrate Coventry's heritage for Civic Day. Visitors took part in tours of the beautiful building, consultations on Coventry's heritage and there was also an opportunity to have a go at ringing the bell! Delicious cake was provided by The Little Vintage Cake Co. in the stunning surroundings of the Old Grammar School courtyard. Both events were very well attended and extremely popular with visitors - a great day all round!
