Famous Coventry Faces add their memories

02 December 2010

Yesterday we had a fantastic afternoon over at BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's IT centre, where we were joined by a whole host of well known Coventry faces (and voices!) who were all keen to add their memories of our great City to our new website www.coventrymemories.co.uk.

Among the guests who came in out of the snow to warm up with tea and mince pies, whilst giving us their favourite stories of Coventry were Lord Mayor of Coventry Coun. Brian Kelsey, former Lord Mayor Joan Wright, Neville Staples of The Specials, man of a thousand voices Marc Silk, and former Coventry City goal keeper Steve Ogrizovic.

You can add your memories of anything to with Coventry over at www.coventrymemories.co.uk, and see photographs of Bob Brolly hosting yesterday afternoon's event on our Facebook page.
