Sent from Coventry Bikers depart - Sat 11th August

24 July 2012

A Grandfather, Father & Son trio under the name of 'Sent From Coventry' left Coventry on Saturday 11th August to embark on a 5,000 mile road trip for charity.

The Baylis boys namely Phil, Philip and John along with their 4th team member and co-driver, Laura Wilkinson, are riding and driving through Europe visiting 15 of Coventry's twinned cities along the way and raising £16,000 for Myton Hospices in Coventry & Warwickshire.

The Pan European Trek started from Millennium Place at 10.30am on Saturday 11th August with over 100 Biker outriders joining them out of Coventry and on to the Ace Cafe in north London enroute to Harwich to catch the ferry to Europe.

The trek has taken nearly 12 months to organise and is proudly supported by his Rt. Worshipful The Lord Mayor's Office, Coventry Transport Museum, Peugeot Motor Company UK, Stratstone Triumph Motorcycles and many other sponsors.

More information and booking is avaliable from the Sent from Coventry Event Secretary - Amy Abrams at
