The Premier Group manufactured over 12,000 Olympic Torches for the Summer 2012 Olympics and Para-Olympics and the Museum is very honoured and proud to announce that the torch will be on display from November. The reaction from the public during the filming of the presentation in Coventry on Thursday 18th October was amazing, the torch really does have an aura all of it's own. A new website created by Craig Nelson, a supporter of the Museum, shows the route taken by the Olympic Torch in July through the streets of Coventry and the neighbouring towns on it's way to London. To view this very informative website just click on www.coventrycity.wix.com/cwrolympictorchrelay The photo below shows Gary Hall - CEO of CTM, Joe Elliott - Chairman of CTM receiving the Olympic Torch from Dennis Meagher of the Premier Group.
