Christmas Campers - What a Ho Ho Ho Time!

25 November 2013

Our Third Christmas Campers event was a huge success and a BIG thank you to everone who joined us for a fabulously festive afternoon on Sunday 24th November.

We hosted 26 Campers and 20 Scooters on Millennium Place through the afternoon, and the entertainment this year was provided by the West Midlands Police Brass Band led by Barney Barnes and the World Song Choir led by Una May.

The judges for the Campers and Scooters were our specials guests 'Princess Poppy' and 'Jack' from the Belgrade Theatre Pantomime 'Jack & the Beanstalk'.

And the results are as follows....in reverse order of course:

Panto Choice - Best in Show: Steve & Leonie Kearns' Camper from Coventry (all the best for the birth of your son in January)

Runner Up Scooter: Richard Barber

Best Scooter: Andi Poole - a Member of the All or Nothing Scooter Club.

Runner Up Camper: Peter Rollins, first timer in Christmas Campers.

Best Camper: Will Ayers, first timer in Christmas Campers too.

Well done to everyone who took part, it was a super afternoon and Millennium Place was a beautiful Christmas Grotto.

A big THANK YOU to TMS Volvo - Coventry & Hinckley for supporting this year's Christmas Campers event along with Coombe Abbey, Frankie & Benny's and the Belgrade Theatre.
