Saturday 7 March - Object stories: Stop Motion Animation.

Create a film that tells the story of the old being transformed to something new. Explore teamwork and storytelling skills to tell the story of a group of broken gadgets using Stop Motion Animation. Deconstruct objects with screwdrivers and hammers, then help them to become a great gadget used in the world of science and reassemble the parts in new ways.

Saturday 4 April - Iron People.

Taking inspiration from Ted Hughes ‘The Iron Woman’ explore the questions: What are objects made of and where does the material come from? What possible effects do broken objects have on our environment? Deconstruct objects and reassemble different parts using the technique of soldering. Then, have a go at creating your own ‘iron-people’ to take home.
