What's On

Coventry Transport Museum holds a wide range of events and activities throughout the year, so there's always something new to see and do.

TEACHERS' CPD EVENT: Inspiring Invention & Innovation

Download Event to Calendar

Inspiring Invention & Innovation
Tuesday 15th November
Coventry Transport Museum

Open to all teachers and teaching assistants, particularly suitable for Key stage 2 and 3 teachers

Cost £20, light refreshments and materials included

This one-off event led by artist Jasleen Kaur offers teachers new approaches to design & technology in the classroom as well as a chance to be creative in the inspiring environment of the Transport Museum.

Join us to use your engineering skills to bring together words and things. Jasleen Kaur’s 'Bodge Poetry’ is a means of generating bizarre but everyday problems to be solved, sparking invention and hands-on object making. Work with found materials and respond to the museum collection in order to construct devices “built for how we do things, not for how we should be doing them”.
